Omega Strikers Review - A Fun Free MOBA Soccer Game With an Interesting Twist
Updated: Apr 5

Introduction: What is Omega Strikers?
Omega Strikers is a free-to-play MOBA (Multiplayer Battle Arena) 3v3 knockout striker. Choose your character, smash opponents off the arena using explosive abilities, and score goals in chaotic, lightning fast matches.
How Does Omega Strikers Work?
Omega Strikers takes inspiration from games like League of Legends, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm and combines them with a Rocket League style gameplay. You are able to play with a keyboard & mouse or you can connect a controller.
When the match is started a goalie is determined at the start (you can set your preference). From here each player will choose from a pool of Strikers each with 4 different unique abilities. Once Strikers are selected the game will shortly begin.
The Basics (Via Omega Strikers):
Score 5 goals to win, but you must win by at least 2 goals
Strike the Core in any direction, even if it's behind you
Most abilities work on both enemy players and the Core
K.O. enemies by knocking them out of the Arena!
Staggered enamines are much easier to knock back
Earn ZP during a match to level up, increasing your stats
To start there are 3 Strikers that have low difficulty that should (in theory) be easier to play. These Strikers are:
Kai
Dubu (Goalie)
Estelle
There are a couple other low difficulty strikers but they do require more experience.

There are 8 ranked tiers:

Gameplay Review - The Player Experience
Overall, I have had a positive and enjoyable experience playing! With being a somewhat straightforward game, it is also fairly complex. I was impressed by the beginning tutorial which gave me a great general to understand but was not overwhelming. Which leads me to my next point.
It's challenging, but not in a bad way. With new games like this, it is impossible to have even or fair match-making. Fortunately the games are fast paced with most games lasting finishing before the 4 minutes expiring. Unfortunately the majority of games so far have been either 5-0 or 0-5.
There is a lot to learn, again with any new game. Learning different Strikers abilities will be crucial to long-term success which will be time consuming. Luckily, unlike some games (cough cough League of Legends with 200 champions) Omega's Striker pool is fairly limited. This is great to see, especially as a beginner as it is much less overwhelming.
Conclusion: I Need to Play More!
There really isn't a reason not to give this game a try, it's free to play! As for me I will certainly be playing more to not just get a better understanding of the game and certain Strikers but to be able to give a more critical review. Anyway, I hope this has been somewhat helpful! Have you played yet? What are your thoughts so far?
